About the Thieves
Hailing from the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia Canada, and fresh off recording their debut EP with famed producer Garth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Alice Cooper, Red Hot Chili Peppers) Canadian recording artist Wounded Thief is made up of an extraordinary line up of local and international talent and fronted by EMI recording artist Steven Jack, the singer of award winning Canadian producer Bob Rock’s former band “Rockhead”
Formed in 2024 by Steven Jack and Pat Haavisto, the Wounded Thief line up consists of the incredible seasoned touring and studio musicians, Pat Haavisto - Drums (Spirit Merchants, Harvesters), Gino Rutigliano - Bass (Frank Soda, Lois Lane) Scott Reinson - Guitars (Solo Artist, Phantom Lymb Syndrome) Rick Speke - Rhythm Guitar (Amberola)
Wounded Thief's 4-track release blends classic rock blues grit, Americana and a little R&B, drawing comparisons to The Rolling Stones and The Black Crowes. The EP captures the raw, unfiltered energy of timeless rock ‘n’ roll and is available now on all major streaming platforms. The first single, ‘Dust n Bones” was recently added to the Still Current morning show playlist on 92.9 CFUZ in Penticton BC.
Over the years Steve and the other members of Wounded Thief have all separately toured throughout Canada, the US, Europe, and South America and with some notable acts such as Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Nickleback, Blues Traveller, Econoline Crush, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Annihilator, Matthew Good, David Gogo, Rhymes With Orange, and the London Quireboys.
The Thieves will soon be out supporting the Wounded Thief debut EP at a summer festival or venue near you.
